This is Lisa and Gavin’s Wedding at the Palace Hotel, Buxton. I knew this would be a great wedding when I met Lisa and Gavin before the wedding. We got on so well and they are a great couple, laughing and having fun with each other all the time. I couldn’t wait to meet all the friends and family I had heard so much about.
We started the day up in the bridal suite where I met the girls. Hair and makeup was already well underway and they were very cool, calm and collected!
Humanist Wedding Photography
Geri and Maff hired out Hurdlow Grange and invited all their friends and family for a whole weekend of wedding celebrations! This was a day of firsts…
My first Humanist ceremony and the first time I’ve been invited to join the guests for the wedding breakfast, I even had own personalized napkin!
Geri is super creative and made pretty much everything! They are a family of creative and talented people, Mary (Geri’s Mum) was even head chef for the day.
It was lovely to be part of this special and unique wedding day.
Kelly and Gary’s Wedding at The Palace Hotel, Buxton.
Kelly and Gary were married at the Palace Hotel in Buxton in early August. I began the day at Kelly’s house which was full of girls and as you will see, lots of pink wedding related things!!
Buxton Palace Hotel Wedding Photography
This is Heather and Mark’s Wedding at St Mary’s Church followed by the Palace Hotel, Buxton. It was a fabulous day with a twist! Both Heather and Mark ride motorbikes, on the morning of the wedding I met Mark at the Palace Hotel where he was joined by the Hatters Chapter Harley Davidson bikers. What a great photo opportunity, myself and my second shooter Alex were in our element with so many nice bikes! Shortly after arriving at the Palace, Buxton’s famous Tram appeared for some photos with the bikes. The bride had organised the tram for transport back and forth from the church to venue. As you can see we got chance to take some great photos outside the Opera House.
Old Hall Hotel Wedding Photography
Louise and Leon got married at St Anne’s Church, Buxton followed by a reception at the Old Hall Hotel. Louise’s bridal preparation was on a farm just outside Buxton, as you can see from the first picture, I was assisted all morning by random chickens getting in my shots! Louise had chosen lovely bright colours and a butterfly theme for her big day. We had beautiful weather for September in Buxton!
