This Christmas – Beauty and the Beast at Tissington Hall
Last week I was asked by Tissington Hall to come along to photograph one of the enchanting “Be our Guest” Christmas tour. Endless preparation and decoration has transformed the hall into a magical wonderland, it was truly spectacular!
Sir Richard has opened his doors to the public, visit the world of Beauty and the Beast…
Buxton Wedding Photography
Diane and Richard married at Pavilion Gardens then strolled over to Old Hall Hotel for wedding breakfast. Love a small local mid week wedding.
Lichfield Registry Office Wedding Photography
One of the wonderful things about being a wedding photographer is that every wedding is different, and sometimes you just don’t know what to expect. Alexandra and Scott decided to have a VERY intimate wedding, and only invited five guests!
Derbyshire Marquee Wedding
I love photographing ‘Do-it-Yourself’ weddings, and Hannah and Tom’s wedding in back in July was one of the best ever! Hannah’s parents live near the picturesque Derbyshire village of Chinley. The location is superb, with wonderful views all around, so all that was needed was an amazing marquee, some fabulous caterers, and a hilarious celebrant who made the ceremony go with a real swing!
Samlesbury Hall Wedding Photography
Natalie and Andrew chose an amazing location for their wedding back in June, and I’m so glad they invited me along! Samlesbury Hall is a fabulous place for wedding photography – it’s a half-timbered black and white medieval house and is rightly considered to be ‘one of the stunning stately homes of Lancashire’. Apparently it’s one of the most haunted as well, but I didn’t spot anything unusual!
Carnival Derbyshire Wedding Photography
Well this was a real wedding with a difference. Sarah and Calvin designed a very personal and amazingly colourful ‘Carnival Wedding’ for everyone to enjoy. They were blessed with a wonderfully hot and sunny day at Taddington Church and Coombe Farm in one of the most beautiful parts of the Derbyshire Peak District.
The Royal Hayfield Wedding Photography
Hayfield is a picturesque Derbyshire village near Chapel-en-le-Frith, well known as the location for the TV series ‘The Village’. Overlooked by the summit of Kinder Scout, Laura and Adam decided that the village had everything they wanted for their wedding day, all in one place. The Royal Hotel was the venue chosen for the bridal preparations and wedding breakfast, and Laura and Adam chose to get married in St Matthew’s Church, just over the bridge. The day was slightly overcast, and it had been raining earlier, but Laura and her bridesmaids decided that nothing was going to stop them walking to the church!
Palace Hotel Buxton Wedding Photography
Every couple hopes for lovely sunny weather on their wedding day, but not many get it. Stacey and Rob, however, hit the jackpot! They were married on 3rd June in the lovely surroundings of All Saints’ Church in Youlgrave, followed by The Palace Hotel in Buxton, and the sun shone all day. Rob and ‘the lads’ had a swift pint in The George Hotel over the road before kickoff, and then joined the crowds of people from Youlgrave who had turned out to see Stacey arrive. It was worth the wait – she looked absolutely gorgeous, and the bridesmaids in their vibrant blue dresses were stunning.
The Ashes Wedding Photography
The Ashes at Endon is literally down the road from me, Dawn and the team looked after us so well, communicating with us throughout the wedding day. It is set among the most stunning countryside, it is a no corkage exclusive use wedding venue, perfectly set out for wedding celebrations.
East Lodge Wedding Photography
Wendy and Richard had such a fun filled gorgeous wedding at East Lodge. It was a lovely intimate ceremony with 24 guests in the stunning grounds of this beautiful venue.
