Thornbridge Hall Wedding Photography.
It literally feels like yesterday that I was meeting Sophie and Sam for their engagement shoot! We had great fun exploring the countryside around Sophie’s Mum and Dad’s House. A year has gone by now and I returned back to the gorgeous cottage for bridal preparations the morning of the wedding. All the girls were gathered together having hair and makeup done, enjoying a glass of bubbly. It was soon time to venture of to the venue to find the dress!
Sophie and Sam chose a fabulous location nestled in the heart of the Peak Distict – Thornbridge Hall. As you will see they had a fabulous day celebrating with family and friends. It is a stunning venue with so many photographic opportunities, I could spend days there taking pictures!!
Wedding Photography – Dean Court Hotel, York.
I adore York so I have been quite excited about photographing my first wedding right in the city centre, next door to the beautiful York Minster. Joana and Mark were married at the Dean Court Hotel with a small number of friends and family. Joana flew all the way from Portugal for the wedding and I have held back on sharing this wedding online until they return from Portugal for their SECOND wedding celebration!!
Anna and Peter – Pre-Wedding Photography in Castleton
I had the pleasure of meeting this brilliant couple at the Vintage Show in Harrogate last year, they have a fun and fabulous wedding planned which is coming up VERY soon! We met in Castleton one Sunday morning to go though the plans for their big day, then after, we took a stroll round Castleton.
Styal Lodge Wedding Photography
Jane and Luke married at Nether Alderley Church followed by a beautiful reception at Styal Lodge. Even though the weather was unpredictable all day they still managed to get outside after the ceremony for drinks and scones and later at the venue we took a trip in a golf buggy for some pretty photographs by the lake.
The bridal prep was at Styal Lodge in the morning.
Daisy and Callum are getting married in July so when they came along to visit me for their pre-wedding meeting I got chance to meet Oatis their gorgeous dog.
We popped out onto the beautiful slopes of Buxton to get some photographs.
This is Lisa and Gavin’s Wedding at the Palace Hotel, Buxton. I knew this would be a great wedding when I met Lisa and Gavin before the wedding. We got on so well and they are a great couple, laughing and having fun with each other all the time. I couldn’t wait to meet all the friends and family I had heard so much about.
We started the day up in the bridal suite where I met the girls. Hair and makeup was already well underway and they were very cool, calm and collected!
Humanist Wedding Photography
Geri and Maff hired out Hurdlow Grange and invited all their friends and family for a whole weekend of wedding celebrations! This was a day of firsts…
My first Humanist ceremony and the first time I’ve been invited to join the guests for the wedding breakfast, I even had own personalized napkin!
Geri is super creative and made pretty much everything! They are a family of creative and talented people, Mary (Geri’s Mum) was even head chef for the day.
It was lovely to be part of this special and unique wedding day.
Kelly and Gary’s Wedding at The Palace Hotel, Buxton.
Kelly and Gary were married at the Palace Hotel in Buxton in early August. I began the day at Kelly’s house which was full of girls and as you will see, lots of pink wedding related things!!
Daniella and Sonny were married in Daniella’s home country of Peru. Later on they had a fabulous wedding reception at Hellaby Hall for everyone who couldn’t make it to South America!
Buxton Palace Hotel Wedding Photography
This is Heather and Mark’s Wedding at St Mary’s Church followed by the Palace Hotel, Buxton. It was a fabulous day with a twist! Both Heather and Mark ride motorbikes, on the morning of the wedding I met Mark at the Palace Hotel where he was joined by the Hatters Chapter Harley Davidson bikers. What a great photo opportunity, myself and my second shooter Alex were in our element with so many nice bikes! Shortly after arriving at the Palace, Buxton’s famous Tram appeared for some photos with the bikes. The bride had organised the tram for transport back and forth from the church to venue. As you can see we got chance to take some great photos outside the Opera House.
