This Christmas – Beauty and the Beast at Tissington Hall
Last week I was asked by Tissington Hall to come along to photograph one of the enchanting “Be our Guest” Christmas tour. Endless preparation and decoration has transformed the hall into a magical wonderland, it was truly spectacular!
Sir Richard has opened his doors to the public, visit the world of Beauty and the Beast…
“Walk into a tale as old as time, come and see the Beast’s Castle, open the door to the snow covered chandelier Hall and visit the Beast in his dark chamber! Will you be brave enough to pick a rose from the Enchanted Garden? Climb the stairs to a hidden room to see just what kind of feast “Lumière” has provided for you…”
I started my morning photographing each room and all its breathtaking decorations! When all the “guests” arrived, they were greeted by Sir Richard who set the scene in the main hall, they were shown round on the tour by the lovely David, at the end of the tour they even had a little Christmas shop!
I was truly amazed at the transformation, I am a local Wedding Photographer and have seen Tissington Hall lavishly decorated many times but never as stunning as this, it really has to be seen to take in all the details and feel the magic. The most exciting part of the tour for me was to see the places the general public don’t get to see, the family opened up the Billiards room and back staircase, never seen before! Scroll down to the end of the post to see tour date info and details on room transformation.
Thanks for inviting me Tissington Hall, here are my highlights from the trip….
