I love the Lake District so when Amanda and Johnathan asked me to photograph their wedding on Lake Windermere, I was very excited! I met both the Bride and Groom at photography college around 5 years ago so not only was I honored but totally excited to be part of their special day!

I began with Amanda and her Bridesmaids at bridal preparations. Johnathan had surprised Amanda with the most beautiful jewellery for the wedding day, she almost had me in tears as she read the message he had written to her on their special day. Amanda had chosen beautiful flowers, the wedding colours were so fresh and vibrant, I love colour, especially with a winter wedding. Most of the wedding day took place at the very cosy, warm Lakeside Hotel, however we did venture onto a boat for a tour of Lake Windermere before the wedding breakfast. Johnathan’s Dad Tom even got to drive for a while! Thanks for sharing your special day with me.
