Katie and Graham’s Wedding – Christmas Wedding Photography
Christmas Wedding Photography
Katie and Graham married at the beautiful St Alkmund’s Church in Whitchurch. It was the weekend of Storm Desmond so we did spend most of the day inside as it was so windy. Katie’s dress was extra special as she made it herself. It had pockets . . . amazing!
It even had a customised pocket especially for the lucky sixpence. She made the bridesmaids dresses too, one talented lady. I love the shawls she chose to go with them, definitely needed to keep the girls warm. Katie works for Shropshire Petals which is a company that grows biodegradable natural petal confetti for weddings. I do a photo shoot with Dave from Golding Photography for her every year so I was very excited to be photographing her wedding, no pressure when it came to the confetti shot!! The wedding was a few weeks before Christmas so they had a christmas feel to all the details, they even had rows of real trees lining the aisles in the church which the guys made sure were taken over to the venue afterwards to decorate the room. The reception took place at Hill Valley Golf and Country Club which was only down the road from the church so not far for all the guests to travel.
