The Ashes Wedding Photography – Denise and Richard
The Ashes Wedding Photography
The Ashes at Endon is literally down the road from me, Dawn and the team looked after us so well, communicating with us throughout the wedding day. It is set among the most stunning countryside, it is a no corkage exclusive use wedding venue, perfectly set out for wedding celebrations.
Every time I think of wedding, emotions just flood my mind! But, what I experienced at Denise and Richard’s beautiful day was too good to be true! You would have come across fairytale moments, and this wedding was a real one. The moment I met this couple, I knew something great was coming forward. Both of these lovely people are such creative souls and I had high expectations on their personalised touches, they had drafted every moment carefully! I was not disappointing, “wowed” by every moment as the day unfolded. The effort Denise and Richard put on their big was phenomenal.
Everything was Handmade!
Apart from the lovable couple, everyone had their eyes on the “Shoes”…yes, you read it right. Denise and Richard both wore amazing shoes. Richard’s winklepickers were EPIC!!! Followed closely by his handmade buttonholes (he made himself!). His rings and scull detail, not to mention his belt! Denise’s shoes were the colourful irregualae choice, but not a style I had seen before, just like her beauiful jewellery, I would wear myself I loved it, infact I just loved everything!! The paper flower bouquet and “one-of-a-kind” centerpieces. Each centerpiece was filled with fresh limes. The cake with crows! Willow the amazing black lab…the list goes on and on.
The talk about Denise and Richard’s wedding will remain incomplete without the “Dress”. Denise wore a stunning red gown. The gown was designed with frills and a mermaid tail. A work of pure beauty.
The Special Guests
A special guest at the wedding would be “Willow”, their dog. Willow was the official ring bearer and she did her job perfectly. The couple had trained the dog for several months. Well, the training did pay off. She was so excited her whole bum and body wiggled as she performed her duty.
String infusion did their thing all day long, I was so excited to see Emma and the girls in action, having seen them at wedding shows, I was keen to see them perform, especially for the evening’s electric set!!
After the ceremony, guests spilled outside for drinks and entertainment from the “Mad Badger”. What a dude!! He was busy creating wonderful portraits for the guests. The entire day was loaded with entertainment and things that caught everyone’s attention.
Rarely do we get to experience the wedding breakfast, usually when the Bride, Groom and all the guests are eating, we go off and find a quite corner to sit and re-fuel. Not at this wedding, Wendy and Richard insisted we had our own table at the end of the room along with String infusion and the Mad Badger to enjoy the delights that The Ashes had to offer. We even got tasty little wedding favours, these guys really did make sure we were well looked after and included into their special day. Thank you so much from the bottom of my heart for making us so flipping welcomed 🙂
Once the ceremony and feast ended, we took a stroll out with Denise and Richard in the gorgeous warm evening sunshine. Soon after it was time for the last formality of the day – cake cutting and first dance. They swirled, hugged, danced and sang of “joy” listening to the sound of string infusion.
