I love the Lake District so when Amanda and Johnathan asked me to photograph their wedding on Lake Windermere, I was very excited! I met both the Bride and Groom at photography college around 5 years ago so not only was I honored but totally excited to be part of their special day!
Katie and Tim’s Wedding took place at Shrigley Hall Hotel. It was a little bit of a wet and windy day so we spent most of the day inside the beautiful building. However, we did manage to catch the sun setting later on in the day. There was lots to love about this wedding as you will see!
Jim and Becky were married at Heaton House farm, followed by Jim’s Mum and Dad’s farm for a festival themed rustic wedding. The effort that Becky, Jim and all their friends and family put into this fabulous day was gobsmacking!!!
I have never known a bride to be so excited about their big day!! Daisy was so excited I thought she might explode! Daisy and Callum were married at Hollin Hall Hotel and what a wonderful day they had celebrating with all their friends and family.

Carolyn and Jordi hired a beautiful cottage in the little village of Ashford-in-the-Water for the weekend of their wedding. Ashford is such a lovely place and this was a gem. We started the day at the cottage where Carolyn and her bridesmaids were having their hair and makeup done.

It literally feels like yesterday that I was meeting Sophie and Sam for their engagement shoot! We had great fun exploring the countryside around Sophie’s Mum and Dad’s House. A year has gone by now and I returned back to the gorgeous cottage for bridal preparations the morning of the wedding. All the girls were gathered together having hair and makeup done, enjoying a glass of bubbly. It was soon time to venture of to the venue to find the dress!
Sophie and Sam chose a fabulous location nestled in the heart of the Peak Distict – Thornbridge Hall. As you will see they had a fabulous day celebrating with family and friends. It is a stunning venue with so many photographic opportunities, I could spend days there taking pictures!!
Wedding Photography – Dean Court Hotel, York.
I adore York so I have been quite excited about photographing my first wedding right in the city centre, next door to the beautiful York Minster. Joana and Mark were married at the Dean Court Hotel with a small number of friends and family. Joana flew all the way from Portugal for the wedding and I have held back on sharing this wedding online until they return from Portugal for their SECOND wedding celebration!!
